About Angie

Angie Young is a graduate of Pell City High School and the University of North Alabama.

She began her career working in office administration working her way up to accounting positions and then Human Resources with a few family-owned businesses in the Birmingham area for over 10 years.

In 2019, she was offered a position with Paige Phillips Insurance Agency as an administrative assistant working with group benefits and some Medicare accounts. This position was offered with the intentions that Angie will eventually open her own agency for Medicare Beneficiaries.  In 2020, at the height of the Covid pandemic, Angie received her Accident, Life, & Health insurance license and began servicing the Medicare Community. By the end of 2022, Young At Heart Medicare Agency, LLC was created.

Young At Heart Medicare Agency offers Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplements, Hospital Indemnity, Dental, Vision, and other ancillary plans.

Angie has a servant’s heart for the senior citizens of Alabama.  She travels all over the state helping Medicare Eligible clients get enrolled or make changes to their current plans. She volunteers at assisted living facilities, senior citizens facilities, as well as host her own socials for the seniors. “I love what I do. I develop relationships with my clients.  A lot of them remind me of my own grandparents.”

Angie also is a member of NABIP (formerly NAHU), the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals and serves on the state and local boards as the Professional Development Chair.  She is also a member and serves as an ambassador on her local chamber of commerce.

Angie loves to travel, whether it be for work or personal experiences. “I’ve always loved to travel. Now that I have my own business, I have more time for family and traveling.”
